Academy

Our Academy is the only hair-focused school of its kind and is designed for students that are looking to become licensed hair stylists. New classes are offered every January, April, July and October. Visit the JZ Academy website for more information. If you are already a licensed stylist and you want to become a JZ certified stylist, you will want to enroll in our Extension Certification class. The Academy is separate from JZ Certification classes.

What is the JZ Extension Certification course?
A 1-day, in-person training course focused on mastering extension techniques. It provides certification in both the Unseen Bead Foundation and JZ Bead Foundation for J Tied® (hand-tied) and Machine Wefts, as well as access to exclusive JZ stylist perks.

What is JZ Academy?
A 100% hair-focused hair designer school that prepares students to become JZ Certified licensed stylists in under 9 months, with new classes starting quarterly.

What is The Signature Series?
A collection of 6 comprehensive online courses designed for hairstylists and beauty students. This series covers essential hair coloring techniques and business growth strategies.

What is The Beauty School Series?
A 10-course online series covering core skills for emerging stylists, including consultations, interviewing techniques, cutting basics, color theory, styling, social media, photography, and extension fundamentals.

Class Waitlist

After selecting a sold out class, enter your email address in the waitlist box.

Cancellation Policy

If you can’t attend your class, contact JZ Styles support. Our policy is: no refunds, transfers or exchanges.

Class Email Schedule

Class emails are sent out 2-3 weeks before the class.

Class Kit Delivery

You will receive the kit before the class. Expect the kit to arrive within a week of the class. Email customer service if you want kit tracking information.

For Utah classes, we do not ship the kit. It will be waiting for you on class day.

Rooms at the Class Hotel

JZ does not save a block of rooms. You are more than welcome to book a room the class hotel. We do not provide hotel room discounts for classes.

What to Bring to Class

Color and Business Class: Notepad for notes is useful.

Hair Certification: Bring your JZ supplied kit, a mannequin head, and tripod. All are required. JZ does not provide a mannequin head or tripod .

Online Gift Certificates

To protect our customers from recent fraudulent activity, we have unfortunately had to disable the use of online JZ gift certificates.

Physical (In-Person) Gift Certificates

Physical JZ Salon gift cards can be purchased in person at the salon.

The JZ Hair Care Line

We have our very own Hair Care Line made up of sulfate-free products that are perfect for all hair types, with or without extensions. Currently we offer a shampoo, conditioner, and hair serum.

Shampoo & Conditioner

The JZ Styles sulfate-free Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner deeply cleanse, instantly detangle, and lock in vibrant color while remaining gentle on natural hair and extensions. Clean, ethical, and cruelty-free, these formulas leave strands weightless and silky while imparting a long-lasting, signature cashmere scent. Both products are offered in three sizes: 2 oz (60 ml), 10.1 oz (300 ml), and 33.8 oz (1 L).

Hair Serum

Our hair serum is an all-in-one treat to tame frizz and add shine to your hair. It is perfect for all hair types and is sulfate-free.

Discontinued Colors

The Emily, The Sarah, The Stormi, The Peyton, The Colly, and The MaryKate have all been discontinued.

Hair Returns & Exchanges

Unopened, unworn, and undamaged hair extensions that are still sealed in their original packaging are eligible for a return or exchange within 30 days of delivery. Exchanged hair extensions must be of equal or lesser value; if your new selection costs less, we will automatically refund the price difference.

How to Care for your Hair Extensions

Let's face it, extensions are expensive. In order to protect and lengthen the life of your hair, we recommend these tips.

Warranty

JZ Styles offers the best hair extensions on the market. Keep in mind that hair extensions need proper hair care to last. Please review our Hair Care Recommendations.

The JZ Styles hair warranty expires after six months. JZ Styles cannot guarantee the hair once it has been colored or toned. JZ Styles reserves the right to decide if we will warranty worn hair.

Retail Hours

While we don’t offer in-store pickup, you can shop at our retail store Monday through Friday from 9am - 5pm or Saturday from 9am - 2pm. We are closed on all major holidays.

Salon Hours

Our Salon front desk can assist you Monday through Friday from 9am - 5pm.
Salon Front Desk is not available on Saturdays. If you have questions, send us an email or give us a call. We are closed on all major holidays.

Holiday Shipping Schedule

Holiday orders ship the following business day:

Shipping Outside of the US

We ship to Australia, Canada, Europe, New Zealand, United Kingdom, and US.
We ship all orders the same or next business day. Depending on your location, expect 2-6 business days for express. For standard, expect 5-10 business days

Using JZ Products Internationally

Our curling irons and blow dryers will work internationally. However, you may need an electrical adaptor.

JZ curling irons use Type A or B electrical plugs. To see pictures of plug types,
visit: Plug & socket types (worldstandards.eu). For countries that don't have type
A or B receptacles, you can purchase a plug adaptor that converts your home country plug to type A/B receptacle.

Color Matching Policy

We get many requests to color match hair. We love to help! However, JZ Styles cannot guarantee hair color suggestions and we cannot be held liable for suggestions. Ultimately, the stylist and client decide together what hair color is best.

Salon Policies

If a client is 30+ minutes late to an appointment, the client will need to reschedule.

If a client no shows or cancels within 24 hours before appointment, the client will be charged a fee. The fee depends on the service.

JZ Hair Extensions

JZ Styles® Hair is single-donor cuticle human hair. This means the hair cuticle is intact and laying in its natural direction. Salon Services

Our full-service salon offers extension installations, coloring, styling and cuts. We also offer spray tans!

Shipping Schedule

Orders are shipped Monday-Friday.

Orders that we receive before 2:00 pm (mountain time) ship out that day. Orders received after 2:00 pm (mountain time) ship out the next business day. Orders placed Friday after 3 PM (mountain time) will ship the following business day.

Delivery Estimation

Ground, once fulfilled, takes 3-8 business days.
Express, once fulfilled, takes 2-5 business days.
Overnight, once fulfilled, takes 1-3 business days.
Canada Express Worldwide, once fulfilled, takes 2-6 business days.

JZ Styles cannot guarantee the time it takes for shipping, especially over weekends.

Shipping with Buy Now Pay Later

There is no shipping delay with Buy Now Pay Later orders.

Holiday Shipping

Holiday orders ship the following business day.

Retail Store
